The student will spend two
or three afternoons per week in the clinic seeing patients with
upper level residents or attendings. Didactical teaching will
take place in clinic. One half day per week will be spent in
a rural clinic, at the local health department, or in a private
office. One half day is given for reading.
Each day at noon there is a conference
on current topics that students and residents are expected to
attend. Lunch is provided.
To apply for a clerkship, medical students
contact our office in Selma. Students are taken year round.
