Dr. Bailey received a BS in Chemical Engineering
at the University of Alabama. A medical degree was
earned at the University of South Alabama in Mobile.
Special interests include residency education
management, general adult medicine, and allergies.
Board certified by the American Board of Family
Practice.

Monica Newton, D.O.
Family Medicine-OB/GYN
Dr. Quinn graduated from Auburn
University and received the Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine
from the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic
Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Alabama-Birmingham
Department of Family and Community Medicine and completed an
OB Fellowship at our UAB/Selma family Medicine Residency Program.
She is a Diplomate of the American Society of Family Practice.

Jake Wood, M.D.
Family Medicine
Dr. Jacob M. Wood joins UAB/ Selma Family Medicine from private
practice in Trussville, Alabama. He graduated from Louisiana State
University and the University of Alabama Birmingham Medical School.
He completed his residency at the Medical Center East Family Medicine
Residency Program in Birmingham, Alabama Board certified by the
American Board of Family Practice.

Robin Stevenson, M.D.
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Stevenson, a native of Georgia,
joined our group after several years in Oklahoma and New Mexico.
An undergraduate degree was obtained from Mercer University,
and medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Special
interests include bladder control management. Board certified
by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Donald Overstreet, M.D.
Family Medicine
Dr. Overstreet is founder of
the Selma Family Medicine Residency Program. He maintains an
actice practice while serving as Director of External Relations
for our organization.
